Breakthrough to You

You have to make X #’s of pieces to have a breakthrough.
I’ve discovered that over the course of creating this art. Each piece is special and unique in its own way, however there are pieces which break the mould of what was created before it and they become the breakthrough pieces.
Opal expanse is one of these pieces. As soon as it was created I knew it was a right of passage to a world of new beauty. It dazzled me with all of its colours and still to this day it surprises me with its vivid beauty and its ever changing look depending on the light.
I urge any and all creators to keep creating, don’t judge the piece, allow it to express itself, be the conduit it needs to manifest and then move onto the next.
You will be surprised by your own breakthrough pieces and they will propel you to new levels of creativity, just be sure to keep showing up to your practice. It needs you as much as you need it.
The light is around us, the light is within us and only the light shall guide our creativity,
